Is Cosmetry free?
Yes — it's free to download and use for tracking your products, expiry dates, allergens and reactions. The AI features (skin scan and the AI advisor) are part of a premium subscription.
How does the allergen warning work?
You keep a personal avoid list of ingredients. Every product you add is checked against it — and against a database of common allergens and irritants — so you're warned before you use something that could bother your skin.
Is my data private?
Your photos are stored locally on your device, not uploaded to our servers. The app uses App Attest to verify genuine devices, and we never sell your data. You can delete your account and data at any time.
What devices are supported?
Cosmetry runs on iPhone (iOS 17 and later). A web version is on our roadmap — the page you're reading is the first step.
Is the skin scan a medical diagnosis?
No. The optional AI skin scan gives a cosmetic estimate to help personalize your profile. It is informational only and not a substitute for a dermatologist.
